Make Every Man Want You

20 Apr

“Marie and Amy have cleverly incorporated the concept of “living in the moment” or “living in the now” into their course. Authors and thinkers from Eckhart Tolle to Wayne Dyer have discussed this concept widely, and now Marie and Amy have taken this concept and applied it to the dating world. It seems to work, and I was hooked on what they had to say! Most other courses train people to believe that having a relationship is what is going to bring you happiness. It’s not. You are looking for a relationship because you want one, not because someone tells you that you need one. Marie tell us how your irresistibility lies in this moment, because this is where life happens. It’s not about aiming towards creating happiness in your future; it is about making it happen in this moment. This is a course that teaches the philosophy of being fully engaged in your life, being fully awake, and conscious, http://get-my-ex-back-now-review.com/reviews/make-every-man-want-you-more-review/”

Drama Kings: The Men who Drive Strong Women Crazy

19 Apr

This book, by best-selling author Dalma Heyn, explores a rising trend in today’s relationships — the coupling of accomplished, successful women with Drama Kings, less-evolved men who are either too controlling, can’t connect, or won’t commit. These men are attracted to strong women yet undermine their strength.

Weaving examples from history, literature, and popular culture with clinical research and the interviews she has conducted over several decades, Heyn illuminates this exploding phenomenon. She arms women of all ages with the telltale traits of these men, offering strategies to identify a Drama King early, get what you need from him quickly, and dispense with him gladly, http://www.buzzle.com/editorials/10-17-2005-79114.asp.”

“Ohmygosh, this book should be a class for high school girls, to save them tears and years of grief. Guys could learn from it as well, on what constitutes a “normal” relationship, http://reviews.armchairinterviews.com/reviews/drama_kings_the”

You lost him at Hello

19 Apr

“All in all, I’d give her book a four out of five. I’m not a huge fan of these types of books, but with her mixture of bringing it all from a different point of view (a sales point of view if you will) anecdotes, and stories of her friends’ failed attempts at dating, it made it a quick easy read that I got a few laughs out of. I’d recommend it for anyone who wants to find a husband in a hurry? I kid, I kid. But seriously, if you liked “He’s just not that into you” I’d read it. If you’ve ever wondered why you can’t hold onto a guy? I’d read it for sure.  It forces us as women to…see The Crazy like she really is and encourages us not to embrace that inner crazy but to deter that inner Crazy Gal and just live our lives and Mr. Right will find us, http://www.legallyheidi.com/2008/12/18/you-lost-him-at-hello-a-review-or-awakening/”

At first glance, this is a harmless bit of girly fun penned by an engaging writer who is clearly passionate about her topic; at the same time, it’s scarily reminiscent of those 1950’s admonitions that young ladies should always “keep themselves tidy”, http://www.independentweekly.com.au/news/local/news/entertainment/book-review-you-lost-him-at-hello-jess-mccann/1473140.aspx”

Getting the Love you Want

19 Apr

“The contents of this book has been broken down into three components; the Unconscious Marriage, the Conscious Marriage, the Exercises. As I read through the various sections, what became clear to me is that the first section (the Unconscious) is designed to help you recognize and move through the patterns of your past that has inadvertently kept you stuck there.  Part two (the Conscious) moves you into the present state of awareness. The last section (the Exercises) seems to be a practical application of empowerment. The phrase “use it or lose it” would apply here, in as much as, if you don’t practice using the new awareness to create healthier relationship patterns, you will inevitability stay stuck in recreating and repeating your past, http://www.mentalhelp.net/poc/view_doc.php?type=book&id=2076&cn=51″
